What It Means to Be a Featured Friend

Being a Featured Friend is a special opportunity to connect with credit union leaders, share your story, and build meaningful relationships within the San Diego Imperial Network.

Friends who complete their annual registration by January 31 are featured once per calendar year at a Chapter meeting. Featured Friends are promoted in advance on our website and in the meeting announcement email.

What to Expect at the Meeting

  • Arrive early: Please arrive 15 minutes before registration opens.

    • Featured Friends assist with selling tickets for the door prizes. Friends can purchase tickets and provide them to the Credit Union attendees.

  • Display space: A table is provided for modest displays and product information. Large booths or elaborate setups are not permitted.

  • Table materials: You may place one marketing item per seat at the lunch/dinner table.

    • Please collect any marketing materials after the close of the meeting. 
  • Your spotlight:  Prepare a 60-second introduction: Who you are, what you do, and how you support credit unions. You will be invites to come to the podium to speak. 
  • Door prizes: Please bring two door prizes 

Need to Reschedule?

If you are unable to attend your scheduled Featured Friend meeting, please notify the Friends Chair or Co-Chair at least two weeks in advance.

Need flexibility?

  • You may coordinate a one-time switch with another Friend who has not yet been featured this year.

  • Both parties must notify the Chair or Co-Chair in advance to confirm the change.
